The Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Nicholas W Yang (front row, fourth left), officiated at the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2016 today (August 19) to show his support for the computer and communications sector. Other officiating guests included the Chairman of the Chamber of Hong Kong Computer Industry, Ms Christine Cheng (front row, centre); the Honorary President of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions, Mr Cheng Yiu-tong (front row, fifth left); the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing (front row, fifth right); the Director General of the Youth Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr Chen Lin (front row, fourth right); and the Government Chief Information Officer, Mr Allen Yeung (front row, second left).
