The Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Nicholas W Yang, speaks at the e-Care Mobile Application Kick-off Ceremony today (October 26).

The Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Nicholas W Yang (second left), joins the Chairman of the Elderly Commission, Dr Lam Ching-choi (second right); the President of the Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK), Professor Wong Yuk-shan (first left); and the Acting Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Studies of OUHK, Professor Linda Lee (first right), at the kick-off ceremony of the 'e-Care' mobile application today (October 26). With funding support from the Innovation and Technology Fund for Better Living, OUHK has developed the 'e-Care' mobile application for better management of community health services. When a user takes photos of medication labels and medical appointment slips, the mobile application will prompt users to take medication and make medical appointments. If needed, caretakers will be informed on follow-up actions.
